Meet Adrian

My name is Adrian Cojocaru, and I'm a 14-year-old martial artist from Cookeville, Tennessee. I started Taekwondo when I was just 3 years old, earned my black belt, and later took up Shorin-Ryu Karate, where I'm currently a purple belt. Over the past four years, I've competed at multiple regional and national tournaments as well as at World Martial Arts Championships in the USA, Czech Republic, England, and Austria, bringing home 17 world championship medals, including 7 World titles - 2 WMAG and 5 WMAC world titles. I've also earned 4 NASKA and 2 ProMac National Champion titles, 8 NASKA World Top 10 rankings, and several ProMac Top 5 year-end rankings. I love competing in traditional and creative weapons divisions, but what keeps me excited about martial arts is learning new skills, taking on new challenges, and always trying to get a little better!

Beyond the Ring

Outside of martial arts, I'm an eighth-grade student at Avery Trace Middle School in Cookeville, Tennessee, where I'm proud to maintain straight A's. When I'm not training or studying, I enjoy spending time with my best friends, playing video games, and having fun. I also love traveling and exploring new places; one of my favorite parts of competing internationally is the opportunity to experience different cultures, meet new people, and make friends from around the world. I enjoy challenging myself, learning new things, and finding ways to grow, both in and out of martial arts. Looking ahead, my dream is to become a doctor while continuing to pursue my passion for martial arts and seeing just how far I can go!
